  • I can't tell...are there other musicians on stage with him? I'm seeing him on Friday.

  • @bearcagela Yes, there was a bassist and drummer. They were both very good.

  • @wblee33 - perfect! thank you for the info. did you enjoy Brendan Perry?

  • @bearcagela oh yeah, he was good, and it was loud, like The Golden Rule. Dark, epic sound! I was expecting him to play stuff from Eye of the Hunter, which I love, but he didn't at all.

  • thank you so much for uploading, now I can imagine I was there

  • @oliffx thanks. Yeah, I thought it would be a dual headliner, but he was the opener, so he only played for about an hour. It left me wanting more of some of my favorite songs from him, but oh well. He's such an effortless guitarist and technician.

  • This set by Robin was awesome. It was this wall of sound that rose up and filled the rather intimate space, as loud as you could stand and through every fiber of your being. It was ethereal, spiritual, timeless, heartbreaking, uplifting, and just amazingly beautiful.

Brendan Perry was mighty fine too. No one can match that voice. The thundering applause at the end went on for a good 5 minutes before he came out for some encores. Was he asking us to show him how much we cared? We did!!

  • nice but miss the raymonde bass and the fraser voices

  • i saw robin last time around during the luminer'e tour in philly but he skipped over us this time and im devestated but thank you for up loading this song its my favorite so i just imagine im there

  • @wblee33 - I wasn't a fan of Eye of the Hunter. It was to folk for me taste. I perfer this more electronic/DCD dark style. I have seen DCD twice...both large venues in Berkely and Los Angeles. I am looking forward to seeing this show in a small club here in Portland. I appreciate your replies.

  • Looks like it was a good crowd for Robin. That is great to see! We look forward to seeing him and Brendan tomorrow here in Chicago. Thanks for uploading this!
