  • i have a big question.....what power supply(watts) would i need to run about 3 to 4 cathode lights??

  • @goliador16 Don't exactly know the answer to your question, but the most I've used on that computer's power supply (550w) was two. I think I could have easily used three or four cathodes on it though.

  • @mhwwdman alright then thanx man,,,,but the question would be refrased which power supply should i use for the lights? i have a 300 watts power supply and i dont i dont know if it will hang in there....another question what power supply r u using??

  • @goliador16 Your 300w power supply might work. Cathodes shouldn't take more power than regular fans I guess. If you want to be on the safe side, you could always get the Corsair 400CX 400w from Newegg for $49.99 (29.99 after mir).

Back then when I recorded the video, I used a Rosewill RP550-2 550W. Wasn't too shabby either.

  • what's the name of the chassi?

  • @Nisseeh Apevia X-Cruiser (original one, not the newer one). I highly do not recommend it. There are better cases out there such as, the Lancool PC-K62 and the Coolermaster HAF922.

  • The lights make it look like a powerful Super computer

  • @mhwwdman alright then that sounds good and another question would any power supply work with any motherboard? cus i have a pentium 2 processer which isnt the big thing so would it work like that?

  • would xfx 4890 video card fit in there?

  • needs better cable managment, also better placement for the cold cathode. Its kinda unsightly to see them directly. better to have them out of line if sight. Nice rig though
