Yesterday, we ventured outside the wire. A hundred vehicles left our new home
at FOB Ma'sum ghar and headed for the combat outposts on the road to, and just beyond, the town of Mūshān. American and Canadian soldiers working together to resupply troops who are dug into the rocks and sand that permeate every corner of Afghanistan. Tanks. Stryker armored vehicles. Trucks.   • @blackjackhp: yes, it's true women have been having babies for thousands of years, however infant and parent mortality rates were much higher until techniques such as c-sections and pregnancy acceptable antihypertensives came about. If there are any compilcations the parent and infant frequently will die during the birthing process. If the family had sought out the nato forces during a fire fight this give a possible indication problems were occuring.
