BOB DOWNE - Stairway To Heaven (1989)

BOB DOWNE (the comic creation of Mark Trevorrow) appeared on Andrew Denton's TV show THE MONEY OR THE GUN in 1989, singing STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN - a song covered each week on the show by a different artist or band, in a different style. An album was released (including a version by Rolf Harris which reached the UK Top Ten) but sadly Bob's version was not included, as his vocal was Live in the studio and not pre-recorded.
