MADEMOISELLE CHAMBON will be released in Australia from 10 June 2010, and stars Vincent Lindon, Sandrine Kiberlain and Aure Atika.
After the international success of Not Here To Be Loved, Stéphane Brizé returns with his usual elegance and subtle scriptwriting, in a story that echoes in each and everyone of us.
Jean leads a pretty ordinary life: he spends his days happily between his construction sites and his house, with his loving wife and son. He feels comfortable in his routine. One day, as hes picking up Kevin from school, he stumbles upon Mademoiselle Chambon, his sons teacher. Shes discreet, elegant, mesmerizing, unlike any woman he has ever met before.
This chance encounter will be a turning point in his well-organized life. An opportunity to change or a folly to regret?
A Woman. A Revelation. A Decision.

Wow. I just saw the cover and a little sinopsis and like it, to me cover is very important cause it demostrates the good taste of the people making the movie, the sinopsis was very simple it reminded me of a very good part of any book, based on anything just two people talking in a sunset looking at each other, thinking. This trailer is beautiful it's really in my opnion directed to people that knows how to apreciate beauty by not anilizing it but just reconigze it, the music the little looks.

@SDCmorg Darling, if you're so desperate for the last word you are going to have to address the original point not just dish out unfounded abuse, exposing your own intellectual shortcomings. Now read carefully, I'll use no big words. Thousands of movies, (comedies, drama, arthouse, action, horror, etc.), have 2 dorks looking miserable to music, esp if one of the characters is in the hospital and others waiting. So re-read my last post and answer question or it's going to be a long 2011 for you.

@MrWallfly It does appear that you do need spoon feeding, MrWalfly. Though you'll have to go look for that elsewhere... or continue on what you're doing. It's shining a rather splotchy color on you. It is not the film-maker's or anyone else's fault that you hadn't learnt enough sensibility and subtlety to see what everyone else are capable of seeing. Perhaps a psychotherapy session would help. :oP

@SDCmorg If you want be a last word freak sweetheart, your going to have to address the only point made in my original post. ie; how could anyone make a decision to see a movie based on what appears to be 2 miserable dorks sitting on a couch? Quite a reasonable question I would have thought and I have said nothing disparaging about the movie. It might be great but how would you know from the trailer? However YOU DID make disparaging generalisations about US films and me needing spoon feeding.

@MrWallfly If you choose to twist my words into all sorts of nasty implications that I didn't say, that is your problem. Judging from your knee jerk and name calling tendencies, though, you do have quite a few problems already, aside from a seriously fragile sense of self among other things. Best of luck having to live like that in your every day life. Sounds pretty needlessly stressful having to find fault with everyone about everything. A sorry psyche to have...

@SDCmorg What a condescending presumtuous and impertinent twat you are, SDCmorg. I serioiusly doubt that you or anyone else in the world would have seen this movie based on this trailer from which I defy anyone to glean the genre. You immediately assume that I need spoon feeding whilst you can eat with the grownups and make a ridiculous generalisation about US films, (and their trailers). Both good and bad films come from most countries including France and US you pretentious flea.

@seemabean1 The first one she plays for him after he fixed her window is 'Chanson Triste' by Ferenc von Vecsey. The one she plays for the party is 'Chanson de matin' by Edward Elgar. I don't know the 2nd violin & piano number she plays on the CD for him, tho.

@MrWallfly I actually think it is one of the best film trailer I've ever seen. Very subtle... just like the actual film really is. They don't spoon feed you stuff like most American films (and their trailers) tend to do.

WTF? Do these people even know what a trailer is? How do I decide whether to see this movie based on that trailer. Two miserable dorks sitting on the couch. Looks like a great plot.
