  • Quality tactical analysis again. The biggest myth going ATM is that he can play the Cesc role, HE CANNOT. He's proven again and again to be below average there. Really scared if Wenger is willing to sell Cesc to put Nasri in that role ...

  • @cwdcomps Fortunately it seems from pre-season games that Wenger's "A team" included Ramsey and Wilshere in midfield. I'd prefer Rosicky ahead of Nasri too.

  • This video doesn't seem to play.

  • @MrSimonpoole The video's not on youtube (for copyright reasons), if you check the description there's a link to view it on vimeo.

  • Brilliant again mr renoog, his problem as you pointed out is he is too direct and elaborate for the main central role in Arsenal's team. Arsenal don't need an attacking midfielder in their system but rather someone who can sit in the centre and control the flow of the team (fabregas). Nasri is best for Arsenal on the wing where he is free to do his tricks and skills, but not in the centre where they need someone who can keep possesion well.

  • @deklinjj Totally agree, his best form so far has been in a direct role on the right around September-December last year. In some games his goalscoring instinct would be useful in the no.10 position, but the majority of the time I'd prefer a sharp, incisive passer like Fabregas over a goalscorer, the team takes priority IMO and the other 3 attacking players need servicing.

  • @bloodybutsa guess his cities problem now, and mancini must recognise that he cannot pull the strings for a team as successfully as fabregas or david silva, made no impact whatsover today, and only when silva came on city the team got chances,

make no mistake nasri has classs but he cant be the central figure and play in the playmaking role. he needs to accompany a number 10

u r very right in this analysis, with this theory being more evident in manchester city

    spot on video man

  • @TacticalRenoog well said

  • needs to learn from sneijder, messi (argentina role),platini, iniesta, david silva and rooney at how to be a good playmaker #10 behind the main strikers (target man)

  • @TacticalRenoog Yeah, that's a good point. Ramsey really could've been ready by now to replace Cesc without the injury, I think we've been a little unlucky in a couple situations like that. Gibbs should really have been ready to replace Clichy by now but 2 seasons of constant injuries have made it a big ask. I don't like blaming luck but injuries have played a part in a lot of factors over the past seasons.

  • @julianken2008 I think he's done well when played on the right in the Walcott role i.e. making diagonal runs from out wide to get into goalscoring positions. His finishing and tight control make him a good goalthreat, he doesn't really have the vision/speed of mind to be a playmaker IMO.
