  • man..watchin this video is like watchin a video of all the best moments u had with ur best girlfriend ever, who broke ur heart, left n never came back....to see kobe and shaq in their absolute physical prime is fucking SCARY.....to see shaq move the way hes moving in these clips is RIDICULOUS......wow....thy had the most athletic, talented, blessed team in the League frm 96-99..and couldnt get it done...poor Del Harris...he coulda made a H.O.F. legacy as coach...but couldnt get thru to those guys

  • @626SupremeLogic I know Del Harris sucked as a MOTIVATOR homie, cause the very next year when Phil came, they won it all, but they did get rid of Van Exel and Eddie Jones too, but I think Phil could have won with that squad up top, no doubt!

  • I believe whole heartedly Phil Jackson could have gotten these guys to play cohesively, get over that final hump, and run off a 3-peat, without a doubt! Unfortunately, it just wasn't to be, but there ain't no denying these 4 guys were special. Kobe, never seen a player like him, period, Shaq, speaks for himself (Most Dominant Ever) Eddie Jones (The quiet Assassin) and Nick Van Exel, to me is one of the best little men to ever play in the NBA and one of my favorite players of All Time!!!

  • a Jordan last-shot moment in the 1998 NBA Finals, had it happened against this Lakers squad and with Kobe guarding Jordan (instead of against Utah and over Bryon Russell), could've been memorable, and symbolic.. a real passing of the torch from His Airness to his Heir-Apparent...

  • is this shaq highlights or was he the best on the team then

  • damn i miss shaq and kobe together... its really too bad that alot of NBA fans had/have jordan up their ass so hard (yes, jordan is the best ever, just sayin) that they spent all of this time bickering and nitpicking and missed out on enjoying arguably the most dominant big and little duo of all time. dont worry, now that shaq is gone, and kobe will be gone in a few years, people will finally understand what they were missing and wise up and appreciate 2 GOATS

  • I love this video! Those Lakers were awesome to watch. Reminds me of the good old days. You did a really great job of making the video and the song rocks too! Thanks!!!

  • This Lakers squad was actually more talented than the ones Phil Jackson later took over the first time he came to the team. Only thing that held them back was a distinct lack of team cohesiveness that finally reared its ugly head in that Utah series. Damn shame, that team would've beaten the Bulls, too...

  • well, 80% of the video is not from 97-'98, but that team was hella awesome.

    I miss nicky... :(

  • That Eddie Jones layup at 2:53 though...

  • @VoiceOfReezun yeah the big issue in 96-99 was leadership. it's a damn shame that the shaq-era lakers ONLY won 3 chips, or didn't at least reach the finals before 2000. jordan vs kobe finals omgggggg

  • man.also, i miss goin to games at the Forum....so easy to get tickets...i went to 2 playoff games in the same week in 1995 vs seattle...they were nosebleeds for like fuckin 10 bucks..but the Forum was a lil smaller than Staples,so they were still decent seats..they blew out the Sonics with Kemp, Payton,Detlef Shremph,etc...those were the days....Inglewood,Ca... Chick hearn was still around...GOOD TIMES
