You are smart...you got it. I can't figure why it's complicated for some other African (black) Americans to get this concept. We are all black but we aren't all African Americans. Africans are not African Americans just like black Latinos aren't African Americans just like black British aren't black Americans, black Jamaicans aren't black Americans etc. etc. etc.

@TheBlasianPrincess According to a research I read, in this side of the hemisphere, the countries with the most African blood are: 1st Brazil (South America) 2nd The United States of America (North America) 3rd Colombia (South America). But there are plenty in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, of course.

Thanks Smitty. I am black, this I been knowing. Caribbeans identify with their island not skin color first. I love who I am and I love black period. There shouldn't be anyone vs anyone. Just like there are white, asian, black in the U.S.; you have many different folks in Latin America. Majority of Mexicans are great people but to the one below saying we are a joke..God Bless ya sweety. U guys never hide ur blacks huh? Lol, Telemundo n Univision is almost all Mexican shows. Just Whites!
