@igoodnessi311 you might have a point there but there is a very high price to pay. so many people get killed by firearms in the usa (i dont know the actual numbers but its over 10000 isnt it?) and i think if the people have to be armed to keep he government in line there is something seriously wrong with your country. i have not been to the US so far so i cant tell but do you really think the government would form a dictatorship if the people woulnt be armed?

@0nkelD0kt0r If you were shot-at, given a choice, would you reach for an AK or a 1-shot hunting gun? The second amendment is vital to freedom. A man with no way of defending himself cannot claim to have any rights, only the privileges that those who ARE armed have allowed him. The 2nd amendment was written by men who had just fought a revolution against an oppressive government and sought to keep future governments in line by keeping the people well-armed and thereby equipped to resist tyranny.

You're asking what people in Tucson are afraid of and why they have a gun? Um... you're talking about the Tucson shooting which was carried-out by a single, crazy, untrained individual. One responsible armed citizen could have saved lives. So much more FAIL in this video...

Why would you blame K-Mart for a psycho shooting someone? Can I sue Ford for someone driving drunk and causing death or injury? Can I harrass KaBar if I get stabbed by a crazy person using one of their knives? This is really stupid. Sucks that those kids got shot but, gun control only effects law-abiding people, crazies and criminals will simply break laws to attain the weapons for their purposes.

@radicalownership well but having less guns does reduce the number of people being killed by guns, you have to admit that. it reduces the risk of childs finding a gun and doing something stupid or for example that someone shoots another because hes drunk or just accidential. do you realy think everybody needs a gun for defense in a civilized country? either the US is not very civilized or most of the guns are not needed.

@radicalownership i'm not completely against guns but they have to be controled. what is the point of selling assault rifles or 50. sniper rifles to normal citizens? if it's so dangerous in america that should be solved by the police and not militant citizens with weapons. if its not, a lot of people could throw their guns away i think.

@radicalownership here in germany hunters may only use guns that hold only a single round cause thats enough for shooting a deer or a duck or whatever. you can get a special license to shoot semi automatic rifles and shotguns but you have to do weapon training at least once a month. you also have to register all firearms that you own and pay tax for it.

@0nkelD0kt0r I know what he is trying to say. But, the whole idea that gun control reduces crime is contradicted with this idea.

@radicalownership he was not trying to say that having a gun makes you a murder. his point is that there is no point of having a gun in such an area and it having so many of them increases the accessability for people that are not supposed to have a gun. you may say you need it for hunting or sport shooting. well for hunting you dont need an AK47 or M16 with 30 round mag.

He is right... and this shows how guns DO NOT increase murder rates

I love how Moore says this without realizing how this dismantles his argument
