3rd Flight of Lanyu Phoenix Evolution 2 in 1 glider. We are still flying 2.6m WingSpan. We had to change the ESC due to some trouble with stock esc that was under powered and showing some weak signs. Enjoy the video. Comments and feedback welcome at alishanmao@gmail.com or ali@redcatracing.com Don't forget to Subscribe to http://www.youtube.com/alishanmao

  • Hi what are the stock transmitters like on this glider is there many problems with them or should i use my spektrum DX5e

  • @sealbay use dx5e its better

  • Hi, any motor recommendation that can spin a 9.5x8 foldable prop and has sufficient power to make a pheonix 2000 go vertical? Btw have you encountered problem with your pheonix 2000 whereby it does not glide well and just keep decreasing altitude at a pretty fast rate? Thanks!

  • @pyrojets nops, maybe you can check the elevator angle, wings, and set flaps right.

  • You mean there is no input for an external mic on your Sony? Ask your student friend what you can do. You can always upgrade to a Canon HD system. The quality of a wireless system is so clear. Since you make a lot of these videos an upgrade would be worth it. I myself prefer Canon for video quality too. Sony is good to but I am a Canon guy.

  • @photobart1 later when things are going hectic we can build a team and get a Sony Pro Camera with all pro stuff. no worries. for now, we are good

  • I have a Phoenix 2000 2M. Wheere can I get the 2.6m Evolution wing alone? I'd love to fly that wing instead.

  • @pyrojets Get a Turnigy 2836 1000kv from HobbyKing......

    I'm using a Turnigy 2836 1000kv / Turnigy 35 amp ESC with a 9x6 folding prop on a(40mmx4mm shaft ) alloy spinner / 2200mAh Li-Po.. CG set at 70mm from LE in my Phoenix 2000 ....

Mine glides fine ,even better when used as a slope soarer....

    ..
