A guy at my local game store bought a halo 3 Scarab on ebay for $90 or so dollars. The thing was as tall as a reaver titan and as wide as an warlord titan. He painted it in his armies colors and the covenant architechture fit in with the Tau's perfectly. (He had to redesign it to be a class in between reaver and warlord because of size issues)
I don't think they make them anymore but you should try to get hold of one.

This is awesome. Jus started with some tau n tho they don't have titans I wan one of these, or at least a mega crisis suit.

That's another of my conversions. Currently my Tau Commander, there is another video showing it in slightly more detail. Will do a video just in the commander soon.

This titan took me about a month, reality was longer as I had to wait for postage on certain items, but construction took about one month

cheers for the comments, to solocaster13. You cant buy tau titans lol you just have to have a lot of time and bits lol. I can do a video showing the different parts I used and where I got them from and for how much. I will also do a video at a later date of how to make it as I am thinking of building another one.
