Whenever anyone asks me about my bodhran, I tell them about Teada and Tristan Rosenstock. I've seen the band live several times and the guy plays the drum better than anyone I've ever met! Melody coming from a piece of skin wrapped around wood - WHAT?
-
I think these are the tunes on the 1st track of Teada's album Inné Amárach. So they would be:
o Lady Montgomery (not to be confused with Lady Anne Montgomery),
o Follow me Down,
o Give the Girl her Fourpence and
o Tie the Bonnet
The only one I'm really sure about is Lady Montgomery

Long Live Teada! I'm wondering if it would be safe to call this a "traditional Irish reel?" Also, could anyone tell me the name of this piece?

As great as Teada sounds in recordings, they are INCREDIBLE live. Easily the best performance I've ever seen. Can't wait for them to come back to Canada.
Can anybody tell me what Ardan is?
Paul is playing a grey paolo soprani.
