@linkpwnsevery1 Itoi never said any of that. I swear, most misquoted thing in the franchise. Itoi said that if someone told him "I want to make a "Mother 4"" he'd say "sure, go ahead". In my opinion, people take this statement too literally. Itoi is just joking. He doesn't mind someone making a mother 4, but there is no way that he's going to get involved. Which makes sense, he's content with what he's made and doesn't feel he has to do anything more than he has.

@yusukeelric they are making mother 4 as a fanmade game which itoi gonna play and try it out , itoi gave ppl permission too try and see if they could make a mother game. so a if he decide too make another one , it would be mother 5 if he likes mother 4.

@noeyedeer2jk89sx I think mother is fine with 3 games... we don't need another one... if Itoi changes his mind and decides to do another... I would like he waits 10 years or so to come back with a fresh idea (as this game). I personally have a problem with the hyper sequel tittles.... they become repetitive (final fantasy first games, the best example... and late games too xD)

But Mario is overused, some things need to die to be epic, of they live on and get old, they just become uncool and sad, like people, if they die off before they make any mistakes then we can feel good about them, but if they get juiced out of all purpose then they lose the love for them and become money machines, and MOTHER was anything but a money machine.
