I suspect she's being rude because she's frustrated and embarrassed.  Not only is this guy way smarter than she is, but he has experienced something she can't understand so her reaction is to mock.

I have read Dr. Alexander's book. I believe his experience to be real. Am I the only one, or does anybody else notice Oprah's skepticism? She seemed very arrogant in her questioning; especially asking if God was a man or woman.

What is sad to me is how some people want to mold Eben's experience by their own definition of "God". IT WAS HIS EXPERIENCE. It doesn't matter what your belief system is or your religion. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE WHEN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY DIES. Then you will know.

I am studying Buddhism and "OM" is prevalent in many mantras. It is a symbol as well as a sound used to represent pure spirit. It can purify self, clear karmic hindrances, and help achieve affinity with the universal truth. When Dr Eben mentioned about the all encompassing, all loving, divine presence it is very similar if not the same as the universal truth. Everything from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy is connected.

This Dr. needs to study the real Islam! He will, I am sure find the truth because word for word, true Islam is what he's describing! Not the filthy muslim distorted version or the propaganda stories... just read a bit about what Islam says and you'll see it's the same as what he says. Interesting huh?

I'm going to get red arrowed but still, EVERYTHING he describes is exactly what the pure, clean, real, true Islam says. You have to dig past the dirty 'muslim' distortions and the propaganda to learn the real Islam. I've been searching a long, long time for nothing but the truth and Islam explains what I feel is right and what science backs up as the truth! No wonder there is a war against Islam! Before anyone answers me, please think deeply about what you're saying before the insults.
