  • @berobinson82 yup:) didn't lose a one

  • hi your bonsai are pretty!!how will you protect them on winter??u have green house where to keep on winter??am fron michigan just got here so i dont have idea about the trees and shurbs..u think they will survive on pot during winter??pls help me thanks..lyka

  • @wolfenout27 No greenhouse for me in South Carolina...I just protect trees from the winter wind and they do well. I suspect Azalea would need significant protection in Michigan but I have never lived in that climate so I really don't have the experience to give good advice.

  • Nice. How did you / what were the circumstances that allowed you to get so much material at once? Out of biz sale?

  • @graycam - it was cheap!! I also believe that good bonsai is a numbers game. The more you have the more chance there is that you will develop a really good one. At some point though, those that that don't develop as well have to be moved on.

  • @jgeanangel thank you for the reply!

We'll be looking for an update this summer.

  • where were you able to get these chinzan azaleas? can we get an another update of these in the near future?

  • @jgeanangel thanks for the reply!good luck on your azalea, wish mine a luck to hehe its my first azalea we dont hve azalea on philippines..thnx

  • @lcabales - As I reread my response I did want to add that the very first step is to expose the root base...this is the point at which the largest roots spread from the trunk. Once you have determined/uncovered the root base then you can figure out where to cut the rootball.
