this guy was invited to play Jimi's birthday party back in the 60s, taught Joe Walsh everything he knows (but as you'll see he left a lot out of the lesson plans), also search Pacific Gas & Electric for another (much older) clip...Glen plays for free on Thursdays at Hooples in the Flats in Cleveland, and plays at the Beachland a number of times a year, go see him play to get blown away but whatever you do don't smoke or drink in his face, or swear at him, or try to talk to him, or be female in his presence or interrupt his preaching (he'll stop the show without a second thought, so be considerate and keep your mouth shut)

  • anyone else see the rolling stone piece on PG&E in this month's anniversary issue?

    I couldn't find it, but there's some interesting stuff (and a namecheck for Glenn AND Hoopples) at the James Gang biography site..

  • after living there 24 years, i left cleveland 6 months ago. the only thing i miss is seeing glen play live. it would almost be worth it for this one reason.  this guy prayin thru his guitar
