@stoogman awesome hats, played them like a month and a half ago at guitar center and I had a hard time buying those or the k custom dark hats, but I needed a cleaner, softer sound so I went for the k customs, I´m glad you got such a nice pair of hats bro (Y)

Had these for a few years up until i cracked the top hat in a few different places. Using sabian metal x hats now.

Those are amazing hats, I love their sound, but they're too heavy for my taste and for the music I play with my band, if I played something heavy I'd definitely use the metal x hats

i would rather get new cymbals first than a new kit because kits can hold out a while and if you change the skins every 6 months and tune them every 2 months they will last good. even with beginner sets.
always replace cymbals first than kits unless your kit is broken.

I agree with you, that's why I have good cymbals but a regular kit hehe I'm thinking of getting an SJC but they're so DAMN EXPENSIVE!
