We often see many pictures of enormous skyscrapers and modern buildings when we read a story about the Chinese capital Beijing.
However, many people in Beijing live in small houses in the local neighbourhoods, called 'hutongs', which are inner-city alleys lined with small houses, shops and businesses.
Tian Huining takes KNN Sport on a tour of her houtong and tells us about the games she plays in Beijing.

  • Cute !

  • Hello KNN-reporters! Very good and interesting report about children that live in in the hutongs. These days hardly only the adult vision on Chinese lifre is reflected in reports and of course the olympics are dominating the news. So you are doing a great job by letting children speak!

  • I visited China in 2008 and spend some time in a hutong. Which hutong is this being shown? Great video!
