Richard Klimkiewicz sat in the hot seat for two nights in March 2000. He got up to $32,000 without using a lifeline but asked the audience on $64k. For $125,000 when he was asked "

Dr. Laura Schlessinger has a Ph.D. in what discipline?"
A:Physiology (Correct Answer)
B: Psychology
C: Philosophy
D: Education

he used the other two lifelines still had no clue, gambled, and won. He seemed to have no idea on the next two either, but as Regis said- He "really is a gambling man"

  • Also, if you can find them, I'd love to see Raymelle Greening or Nick Meyer's runs where they missed the $500,000 question.

  • @EricAKATheBelgianGuy Don't have either, I do know some of the questions though... for $250k Nick Meyer was asked something like-

'The sands of the kalahari desert are known for being what color'

for $500k he was asked- 'Which of these actresses was a member of the original broadway cast of Hair'

He said Glenn Close, the answer was Diane Keaton

You can some of Raymelle Greening's questions here-

  • @WWTBAMclassics For $250,000: Multi-Grammy Award winner Jimmy Sturr is known by what nickname?

    A: Calypso King

    B: Country King

    C: Polka King (Correct answer)

    D: Swing King

For $500,000 The legendary King Midas was based on a real king who ruled over what ancient peoples?

    A: Sumerians (Her answer)

    B: Phoenicians

    C: Assyrians

    D: Phrygians (Correct Answer)

  • I think he should have walked but I understand his logic to go for it, given that Billy Joel came right after John Denver.

  • @EricAKATheBelgianGuy & Besides, the man was a gambler. Gotta give him props for going all out

  • you can always tell the answer by how regis reacts... I knew the second he said Billy that it wasn't it if it was he would of said something along the lines of "Now think about this, THIS IS 450 thousand dollars you're going to lose"

  • Do you have the video of the rest of his run?

  • If norm macdonald has this guy's balls he'd have made it to the million with two lifelines left. Sucks tho. I thought $500k was hella tough

  • @ChiSportsNut18 I saw them on a website called "SyndiBAM" which is no longer up.

  • @ChiSportsNut18 Which Raymelle Greening's or Nick Meyer's?

Nick Meyer's is from memory, Ramelle Greening's I found here

    (change the "DOT"s to ".")

  • @EricAKATheBelgianGuy

Where did you find those questions?

  • This man made a very poor mistake trying to rush the $500K question like that. If you don't consider walking away if you're not certain enough at the $250K level, it's got to come into consideration at $500K and most certainly the $1 million question. Ken Basin comes to mind, I know. But at least with his money he can afford gas at the pump.

  • @AlecBoy006V2 Same here, unlike a certain woman who faced a certain U.N. question...

  • @WWTBAMclassics Thanks, but I already knew the questions. I was hoping to see the video just to see what they looked like.

  • That has to fucking hurt. I didn't know either question but the $250,000 made sense. I feel bad for him.
