Do you recommend for a beginner to get a midi and an MPC?

@Jonathansernel1 No, hardware extras - is a matter of preference - not a necessity. I don't use an MPC myself - I prefer a keyboards a mixing board - but lots of people don't use anything but the PC too. Automation, editing events,keyboard controller, formula controller, envelope editor, LFO's, and side chains can easily replace and out perform the capabilities of most hardware controllers.

@FirstFlabbergasted Sorry about that - it's been something that has been a problem for a lot of people. ASIO is really important though. Follow the link in the video description for an explanation. This is a technical issue, use your primary when using FL Studio with YouTube.

@iSawTheUnseen Some soundcards don't work -es laptops. Use your primary soundcard for now if you can. If performance is too sluggish, check out the link for extra help with ASIO4All in the video description, ASIO drivers fix many performance issues that default soundcard drivers suffer from, People had so many performance issues in the past when I avoided mentioning ASIO - I was forced to cover this topic of ASIO at the very start which can be a bit intimidating and tedious.

By the way people that ASIO thing is a bit of a spastic and cant play 2 different sounds at once so you cant have youtube and fl studio open at the same time, you will only hear one of them! thumbs up so people can see this!!

great tutorial and i think it was just the right length for it to be in depth enough for everything to make sense! the only problem im having is im running dual monitors and i can only get sound on one application either FL studio or youtube? do you know a way around this at all? cheers
