@radio187 Good thing I am a realistic fan, but can at least ask when was the last time the Spartans have won an NC. Weis had two fluke seasons and couldn't coach when it mattered. I didn't even want him as head coach. Now we've at least got a winner, but time will tell if Kelly can be one there

So what that MSU lacks history compared to ND? How does that come in to play today? Is the 1919 National Championship relevant to a current discussion? Why, when Notre Dame fans are called on their current struggles do they start crowing about events that they weren't alive for? I'm a Yankees fan, and I don't sit there bragging about Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio and 26 World Titles like I was there. Yes those are titles. And 10-10 tie with ND would have been an MSU win if ND didnt cry about it and end the game. Lets take a look at basketball in the past 10 years MSU has 5 final fours only UNC has matched that so yes I can put them in a group with those team.
