I don't know where you got the ludicrous notion that Ian Mackaye named Fugazi after a Marrilion album but I can assure you that you are waaayy off beam! They were named after a term used by Vietnam vets which meant "Fucked up, got ambushed, zipped in(to a bodybag)".

@ Xythantiops ..........funny how you mention Fugazi, who named themselves after a Marillon album, Im a massive fan of Marillion and also the Fall, musically a million miles apart, but both brilliant in their own way!

@Xythantiops i went to see grandaddy in the melkweg circa 2000 -los americanos were still unwilling to discuss THE FALL-they were willing to cover 'Here' by Pavement-they feigned ignorance but i fear they were ignorant--greetings from ireland-winter is my friday night tune but I FEEL VOXISH

I went to see Fugazi at the Paradiso in Amsterdam in 1990 and they played this between bands. This was the best thing all night.
