Everyone has slightly different posture because their bodies are all different. The similarities are the science of it. Proper posture promotes proper movent.
I fully believe their is more than one way to crack an egg. A sledge hammer will work just fine, but it tends to make a mess of things. The reason I indicate that standing closer to the ball rather than farther away, is that you can always fall deeper into the Counter-Fall that will balance the sling of your arms going in front of your body. If you are too far away from the ball you will not be able to move backwards and in turn the weight of you upper body will force you to go over the top.
Wrong -standing to tall at address will cause you to get stuck. If you want to swing the club freely you need to keep the chest from blocking the shoulder turn.Standing this upright will cause over the top moves and a host of other problems.Your back needs to be bent over with your torso on plane with your chin and in good balance.Check the Jack Nicklaus video on posture he agrees. This is seriously poor advice.
