This is me and my Arabian gelding, Amigo, doing Training Level test 2. This was our first time winning a dressage class! We are both green and learning together but he is very willing and tries hard.

  • Check out my latest videos from our CCI*** open show in Nov. 08.

  • What a lovely little horse.

He is so relaxed and willing.

  • Thanks! That's why I love to watch our videos. I like to look at how happy he looks.

  • Im a bit jealous.

Why oh why can't my barrel horses be this calm? lol

  • I have a friend with barrel horses-super calm on the trail but you get them near an arena and the crack kicks in! I feel for you!

  • Haha. I hate trails ;)

  • Check out my videos from November...much better tests!

  • I am now working with an excellent trainer and schooling First Level (Amigo is digging the lengthenings!). At this time, I was riding with my reins too long, which is why my hands were by my belly. I appreciate your feedback. This past year I have learned a lot with this trainer and hopefully will post a new video that reflects our progress soon!

  • When you were going K-X-M (1:05) he looked really, really good!

  • very cool!! and good job!! What was your score? My only tip would be to send you horse more forward and keep him moving uphill. He is a little low, but he is relaxed and happy which is very important! Another thing that i noticed is that you hold your reins close to your belly at times. Your hands should be approximately 1 fist above the withers. You can work with a (or your own) trainer to help with what i said. Keep up the hard work!!
