This is the theatrical trailer for "Limbo", a Norwegian feature film opening in cinemas across Norway in September 2010. "Limbo" is the debut feature by Maria Sødahl, an acclaimed short film director. SF Norge is the producer/distributor locally.

Here's a short synopsis, courtesy of the Norwegian Film Institute: "With expat circles in the Trinidad oil business as a backdrop, Limbo is a film about love, temptations, and deceit in an environment a long, long way from home. A young family arrives straight from the Norwegian reality of the 70's to an international milieu where men still keep lovers, servants take care of house and children, while the housewives gather poolside for gin and tonics - like listless, rootless ticking bombs, distraught with frustration."

Starring Line Verndal, Bryan Brown, Lena Endre, Henrik Rafaelsen, Iben Iuel Hersoug and Fredrik Frafjord.

  • @awiecek that's Calypso Rose's version of the Burt Bacharach song "I Say a Little Prayer"

  • What`s the name of song from 1:40? Anyone know?

  • Such a talented and visionary group of movie makers these Norwegians......thy've succeeded in capturing what life was like in the islands some 40yrs ago. And did so on a shoe-string budge, faan?! I helped procure the 50plus background cars for the movie, sourcing them, painting some of them, getting them on set, fixing some of them...it sure was fun, wouldn't trade the memories for the world. And am keeping the Mustard Toyota in original shape for when the movie is released here in Trinidad.
