We used to crank this tune up on the stereo and shake the walls as we sang along. Now here I am in my fifties, Still giggling away as I go down the road singing, "Sing if your glad to be Gay sing if your Happy that way".

yepp! I was 19yo when I first heard this song, now aim 52 yo and the message is still the same, but I would say the best way to stop the illuminatis is to use our right (duty) to choose between material and non-material life. In these times of spiritual darkness: Let´s stand up for Srila Prabhupada´s Hare Krishna Movement (but beware of any sect) bec anyone can be glad to sing Hare Krishna! This is the ultimate freedom.

@Skipinderjit quite an ignorant and superficial statement sir....unfortunately, by making such a generalisation it is you who is oblivious to the irony in the song...
I am quite old now... and I remember Tom Robinson Band, Rock against Racism, School kids against the nazis etc. . It was a time when average white kids suddenly realised that our friends who were black or gay or just different were under threat from ignorant right wing idiots. It meant something then and it does now.
