My friend, Skee, and I stopped by the Six T's Laundromat in East Rochester, ME to wash the first round of clothes from our road trip. Skee had the bright idea to write a song while we waited and here is what we came up with. Special thanks to John the cashier from the corner store across the street for video taping.
"East Rochester"
Take me through winter, take me through spring
Take me away on these feeble wings
I - can't feel the summer anymore
I - am gonna walk right through that open door
In the morning I'll see my sun go down
See my sorrows drown
In the evening I'll burrow to the ground
Pull the stars slowly down
Take back your bag of frivolous things
I've had my fill of your sweet, sweet nothings
I - am gonna pack my soul good and tight
I - am gonna let these roads set my records right
Rockin the laundry mats? Lol. Love ya Jess!
