most of the time its wrong to sickle your foot. but in this case its what the choreography called for.

you dont sickle it if its supposed to be pointed or flexed..you only sickle your foot if its choreographed into the dance..so your teacher is right.

correct me if i'm wrong (and i am pretty sure i am cuz its my first year dancing) but is it correct to sickle your foot? i would do that in my classes and the teacher would get mad and would say that it looked ugly. but he said in 5:30 to sickle it. i don't really like the classes (it's a free class) and this isn't the first time i found out that what they teach is wrong. should i ditch the classes? and if so, how do i know that its a good class?
