They didn't make statements supporting the incident, they just referred to them as freedom fighters? Don't be obtuse. Their statement was unambiguous: "...to many people in Puerto Rico, these are fighters for freedom and justice, for liberation, just as is Nelson Mandela, who himself advocated bearing arms".
She was on the board of the organization whose head issued this odious statement. Like it or not, she is therefore "connected" to it.

Try searching the NY Times. The connection is tangential, but it most certainly exists. If memory, serves, she was on the Board of the PLDEF when it's president made statements in support of domestic Puerto Rican terrorists who opened fire in the NY state legislature (in the 50's I think) injuring a number of people.

I watched the young turks video about this and I had to laugh LOL. The extreme conservatives in our country are insane... even more so than the extreme liberals.

You know, the ad from the "committee of justice" doesn't have a single quote or source or piece of evidence at all. And its the first I've heard of her having ties to terrorists. I think these guys may actually be embarrassed by their lack of evidence. It looks like they're simply hoping saying "BILL AYERS! TERRORISTS!" will be enough to get people to believe them.
