My trip to Key West for my "Two Weeks"

This is a collection of videos of my trip to Key West, Florida July 2 - 18, 2010 for my "Two Weeks" for the reserves. Although there isn't much "narrative" to this film as a whole, everything is show in chronological order.

I'm a Seabee in the U.S. Navy Reserves and my battalion was tasked to build two pavilions for the Truman and Trumbo Point annexes. Not surprisingly, things didn't go according to plan but we did what we could.

Looks like you got almost as much time to screw around as you did to work! Sounds like one hell of a paid vacation! :) A buddy of mine is in the Navy and has a 3 year assignment in Key West starting in September.. Good video.

Key West is like New York City - a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

Hey Chad, I was thinkin about joinin the Navy reserve. Do you like it ? it seems like most people start hating drill weekends after a while ? and do you always go somewhere cool for your 2 weeks ? thanks
