I was able to fit all this battle in one single youtube video. I'm pretty happy about that considering I died like half a dozen times before I was able to actually beat it for the first time and it took me over an hour when I finally did lol. I had to fast forward the enemy phases in order to fit it under 10 minutes but I think you can still see pretty well what's going during this time.
I've decided to try and take on the project of exploring the possibly of speed running this game. Basically, beating each of these levels as efficiently as possible without power-leveling. That means not only beating each level in under the amount turns required to get "Rank A" but also trying to optimize each action and ultimately achieving the most efficient strategy possible. I'm always looking to improve myself so if you have any tips and tricks leave a comment, video response or whatever.
Here's a quick resume of this battle:
Turn 1: Take out the enemy infantry with sniper and scout. Get the same scout to safety on the far bottom. Use Lancer to take down the first two standing remnants of ruins.
Turn 2: No action needed.
Turn 3: No action needed.
Turn 4: Use a scout hidden behind the wall to hop onto the port side of the Batomys (Boss Tank) and throw a grenade into that radiators.
Turn 5: No Action needed.
Turn 6: Use a scout hidden behind your tank to hop onto the rear of the Batomys and throw a grenade into that radiators.
Turn 7: No action needed.
Turn 8: no action needed.
Turn 9: Get the scout used in turn 1 to hop onto the starboard side of the Batomys and throw a grenade to blow out the last radiator. Order Demolotion Boost on the Edelweiss. Attack the Batomys 7 times with the Edelweiss and your done.
I'd like to point out what level are my units:
- Scouts: 7
- Shocktrooper: 2
- Lancer: 8
- Engineers: 3
- Sniper: 2
I need the Lancers to be level 8 to get Demolition Boost so I can kill the Boss in one single turn. Perhaps it's possible with only Damage Boost since you would have 3 CP left to spare. You could get 1 more tank hit + 1 more Lancer hit but that would take more time so why bother. :) It's would be possible to use a Lancer + Engineer to kill the Boss but that's not as efficient since the Edelweiss does more damage. Plus you'd have to take extra turns to transport the engineer to safety.
Please tell me is it possible that we can fire the giant tank body without bombing the three radiators? If one or two radiators is already bombed, can we bomb the giant tank body directly? Because my lancer is low-leveled (about 4), I need to bomb the giant tank body within 9 turns. It is so hard.

@mrklobouk I use a video capture card. It's basically a device that has a USB on one end and AV wires on the other end. AV wires are the red, white and yellow cables. You connect those to the output of your ps3 or tv and connect the USB to your computer. It allows you to "capture" the footage directly on your computer and convert it in a video file. I personally use Dazzle Video Creator Platinum. It cannot record in HD but more expensive ones can so I have to set the PS3 on SD while recording.
