  • @koolynoodyano That's because in person it sounds and feels a lot better than "cheap". You are a decent guitar player with what appears to be a good future in the industry, I wouldn't think you would bother to post an antagonistic comment even if you thought it to be true.

You will find as you get older, those that act rudely, will get treated rudely...eventually. Sometimes even if the thought is in your head...it's probably best it stays there.

    Be nice, nice is good.

  • Hey marc love your vids, does suhr custom install the dun cans and the spc tone control when you custom order ?

  • @littlebigfis

Yes, they even setup a program on the CNC to route for the Blackouts. They also install the SPC. They are an awesome bunch!!!

  • Are those the Mick Thomson Duncans?

  • @Misticmyst73 When this video was shot I had AHB1's in the Suhr, I now have the AHB3(Mick Thomson) in the bridge position. I prefer the AHB 3 :)

  • To my ears the Gibson Les Paul sounds the best.

  • You know, I've never cared for the look of Les Pauls. They sound great though. :)

  • @Carthsgtr Everyone is entitled to their opinion. That is a good thing. To say that I don't give a f#%k about tone is quite honestly f#&king stupid. It's just our opinions differ on what we like as far as tone. I'm glad that not all have your opinion or I wouldn't have a job in LA now.

  • @samhillband

Kooly's comment wasn't harsh in the slightest. The tone is mediocre at best and sounds messy and certainly over the top in terms of gain. Either you accept that or you must be deaf. I understand that some love the feel of vintage style instruments, but this style of music just as easily achieved with a Line 6 and a Schecter (great value guitars)

The idea he should have kept quiet is oppressive and quite honestly, fucking stupid. He is completely and utterly correct!

  • yep exactly.. Nothing beats the fat warm sound of a genuine gibson les paul, i do like the clean channel on the whatever its called hahaha i would put the duncan's in the gibson and hang the others on the wall for looks..

  • i prefer les paul... notes are more....clean ;)

  • I gotta say, nothing like a fat Les Paul tone... especially dirty. But the cleans on the Suhr to me are way better. And the Suhr does hold a candle to the LP tone dirty so I'd probably go for the Suhr, for playability too.

  • surh sounds awesome!

  • @koolynoodyano Cause he can and he wants.... Why you bother to spend hours to play your licks if you sound exactly like a cheap korean guitar with a shitty amp.... Someday you will appreciate quality dude... maybe after puberty....
