  • Thanks for posting this interesting clip from Spontaneous Music Ensemble. John's creative influence in the music industry has never been properly credited (no thanks to the work of biographers who like to ignore reality) but his music here reflects the search and reflect philosophy that SME were about. John was a wonderful man and very generous with his time. I was likely enough to see him with the SME band at Dudu Pukwana's wake at the 100 club. He is missed by those who remember him.
