Lyrics:
Tired faces scream from their bright magazines
With their fingernails clamped to the page
With a look of the born to be painfully ordinary gods of a desperate age
Theres no story to tell, but theres a spokesperson yelling
At a volume to drown out your voice
Seeing justice be done, theres a change gonna come,
But in secret and you wont get a choice.
So to hell with the world, I still love you my girl,
Youve been crazy to stay by my side
So lets stand and lets sing, cause there are beautiful things if you know the places they hide
And the bands playing tunes that mean nothing to you,
But you can dance better with the devil you know.
All along I was taught to keep my head above the water, but I might just prefer it below
Yeah, and maybe the greatest of heroes they inhabit the stories that nobody hears,
And maybe the songs that couldve brought you to life were not allowed to get close to your ears.
And theyll hide from you darling, oh yes they will, from the changing routines,
There's a light, there's a light, there's a right and it's dark as it seems...
So when victory comes at too heavy a price, well theres honour in choosing defeat
Like the boy who was given the keys to the world and decided to sleep on the street.
Chords pleeease!

Right on, I transcribed it by ear though so do take my chords with a grain of salt...
Throughout most of the song, I play C C D Em, sometimes shortening that last Em to half a beat and going back to D for the other half of said beat. Hope that makes sense... As I'm not even sure it does to me.
For the bridge however -that's the "they'll hide from you darling..." bit-, I play B C G Em C D (Em D - both shortened) C.

For ease of use, I submitted my tab to Ultimate guitar tabs archive, it should show up there in a few days...
