God bless this man for this video and his effort. Some people do care about education and science.

Looks like I'm not the only one looking up stats vids the day before the final lol...obviously an awesome idea to upload these, they're way more captivating than my textbook. Cheers

really great explanation....

Great video! I just want to point out that the United States Census most certainly *does* count the *entire* population. It is not a sample, except in the sense that it misses a couple percent of people who are homeless. Every single man, woman, and child, legal and illegal, is counted by the Census.

Sad that my Statistic's final is tomorrow, these videos would of came in handy if I only found them a weak earlier!

Apparently, the Venn diagram represents is an example of the Platonic realm of the Forms. We should consult the demiurge for the answers to the parameters.

Good graphics and good explanations. It could be more carefully scripted as the video is at odds with its own definitions in a few places. For example, at 4:01 " ... sample regression function with its own parameters and ..." should be "... with its own parameter estimates." Given that the video explicitly introduces the population parameter / sample statistic distinction, the terms should be used consistently.

You're supposed to have as many points above the regression line as below it. Your green dots graphic is not accurate. I think also the blue dots graphic. Other than that, good work.

no, OLS does not require slicing the dots in half, that is incorrect. Sum of least squares.
