Jeremy Scott (of Kansas, no less,) among others, are American designers who are members. Ralph Rucci is merely the only couturier who shows in New York.

no wonder daphne is so reticent when practically the first thing out of the narrators mouth when introducing her is how her grandmother happened to be married for a time to a notorious Nazi sympathiser - dicks!
No mention of her being descended from the Guiness family or anything else about her.
