Buffalo County Buck Connection fall 2009 will not be forgotten anytime soon by RCO Executive Director Andy Kaminski. On the first morning just after daybreak a nice buck came through. With the adrenaline pumping buck fever set in, as Andy's arrow was low, strike 1. Once things settled down it looked as if Andy would have a second chance when this nice buck worked his was towards the stand. But this buck would not give him a clean shot, strike 2.
After having lunch at the base of the tree Andy settled back into the stan for the afternoon hunt.
Just pass 2pm a huge buck comes up the draw from our left straight for the treestand at only 15 yards. Andy bleats at him he stops with bow fully drawn guess what! Watch the video to see what happens next.

  • Yes, what a blessing to see and have a chance to harvest two mature bucks in one day! Like I said before, I learned some tough lessons that day, but I have been practicing slowing myself down and not rushing my shots. Thanks for the comment and coming to our Channel to view our videos! Please check back often as we are loading up new videos almost every month. God Bless and good luck on all your hunting adventures!

  • Yes, this was a tough lesson learned. I should have never made the shot on the first buck at all, It was a poor shot choice by me and I know better than that. It's the first time I have had to stop a buck and than try and make the shot and I learned a lot from that day in the stand. I had a blast and it was such a blessing just to be that close to a monster buck! God is awesome in all that He created!!!! Thanks for the advice Kelly i'll take it to heart!

  • great video man!!! I live from here by about an hour, was this private land? or is the public land worth rolling the dice on those november mornings? check me out on third lake this winter, tip-ups and beer.....

  • @RuggedCrossOutdoors I am blessed to know That I am not the only Hunter to blow a shot at a nice buck. Thank's for the video and, Know that Your chance will come again and, maybee next time He will be riding home in the back of Your truck.

  • Wow that's tough man. I know how hard it is to relax and take a nice shot, but you really should slow down a bit. i've never even gotten one opportunity like that let alone 2 in the same day! better luck next time though.

  • You need to relax and slow down. You are rushing your shots. That 2nd buck woas entering a better lane and you rushed not only the shot, but the stop, too. Excellent footage though. better luck next time.
