Ujjaya : "Un pas de géant"

This track is a mix of a Saraswati - Vena,the oldest string instrument in the world (long before the greek civilization appeared it was described in the hindu ancient writings, the veda) with a sheet. The sheet is not provide by a synthesizer but with a sample of a Coltrane song called "Giant step".Because as Coltrane I believe that music can change the soul of the listener not only entertain him, and in the end change (but in a subtile way)the history of mankind.I took the sample as far away of its source as I can.I believe that all the new agers or all ambient musician share inconsciously the same kind of
ambition than Coltrane that is only the goal all the ancient musicians from any
civilazation would aim to achieve.

View for the outside the music of John Coltrane has nothing to do with ambient music

because in this genre the less notes there are the stronger is the impact. But he perceived Music from its hidden side, a spiritual force that can change your mind and ultimately the world ,so is also ambient music .Another point that link me to this genius was his constant musical search on new instruments and his interest into spirituallity from india or Africa.
