On Saturday October 15, 2011, a large group of us railfans met at the Pacific Station Plaza pavilion in Pacific, MO to spend the day train-watching and shooting pics and video. It was an absolutely perfect day--beautiful clear skies, cool temps, and soft sunlight made for great photography!! Here are just a few of the many trains we caught that day. There was action on both the UP Jeff City Sub and the BNSF Cuba Sub. As the sun began to set, we finally decided to call it a day and head home. My wife buzzed me on the cell phone informing me that dinner was ready--I better hurry home before it got cold!!! Enjoy!!
2:10 I am amazed there are any Leslie RS3Ls left on the UP! I thought they had all been replaced by now. That has to be one of the last remaining UP locomotives with a Leslie horn. Nice catches.
