JCI Sports: Winter Hiking & Camping, Yosemite, CA, Jan-2008

JCI San Fernando Valley MARTHA & JCI Pune MARTHA chapter organized a Winter Hiking & Camping event at Yosemite National Park, CA, USA. Special event invitations were sent to chapter members, associates, affiliates, businesses, friends & family. This event had a wonderful turnover of members attending from Norway, Poland, Germany, England, Ireland, India and USA. Attendees were Orthopedic Surgeons, Cardiologists, Fitness Trainers, Engineers, professional Hikers & Rock climbers, HOG Members (Harley Davidson Owners Group), Rotarians, Lions and many more. The event experienced an over all turn-out of 35-40 invitees.

This was an invitation based event for JCI MARTHA friends & family. JCI San Fernando Valley MARTHA chapter's Presidential Suite was arranged at Yosemite State Yurt Village at the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Accomodation for members & invitees was arranged at the farm houses of JCI MARTHA associates, fairly close to Yosemite National Park.

Over all event was a good success, we had individuals who drove in with their horses and had some good wild western style horse riding at Yosemite National Park. The event highlights were horse riding, snow golfing, snow trekking, snowboarding, skiing and motorcycle riding at Yosemite National Park.

This event is an annual event of JCI MARTHA under JCI Winter Sports activity effort. This event is generally scheduled during November - February at some interesting Winter Hill Station around the world.
