after some take offs, about 8 or 10, this is how it flys now. i guess i can remove the landing practise cross soon - i hope.
on the computer i fly the helis much more agressiv, but i dont thrust in real flight and dont want to crash it badly at the beginning.

  • @GaryX1001 - I find it interesting that some one would recommend following a heli. It's dangerous....but dude....as long as you got good health insurance....Have at it....I have enjoyed our adult conversation.....and you are right....we all learn lessons differently.....safe flying to you....and have the best day ever......

  • @TheBeatSmith yes, a beginner doesnt know that much. i was maybe 5-7m behind the heli. helischool de recommends 3-4m in lesson-4 and if the heli is more then ~10m away they say to set it down. they also recommend to follow the heli if needed to stay in tail view. guess there is no 100% right way to do it, people must decide theirself. i learned to fly this way, so it is ok for me. ;)

  • @GaryX1001 - Ok GaryX1001, in response to your statement, If a person can see this copter's orientation 10 yards in front of them, then a RC heli is not their best choice for a hobby. A beginner knows nothing about the tendencies of a Single Rotor heli as most come from a co-ax. This 450 size copter is visible at 10 yds....I own two of them...I understand the tendacy to follow the bird to keep tail end orientation....it's just dangerous to do that.

  • @TheBeatSmith well, i have to say, i dont think a beginner is able to see the orientation of this 50cm long heli that good over a distance of 30 feet (9m). a beginner has to stay behind the heli to have the tail view because he hasn't the skill to control it in side or nose in. i had no "instructor" who flew with me via trainer tx, so i had to learn it myself the way i was able to handle it. i guess everyone knows that RC helicopters are no toys and handle them with enough respect.

  • @TheBeatSmith for sure! yeah, i didn't mean i'd be this close. when i learned to fly my 4 channel i stayed a good 30 feet away.

  • @tarzan3307 - Ok...but just so you know....these 6 and some 4 channel helis are not toys....They can really hurt you.....Wind gust, prop failure, or just being in the wrong place when its out of control can kill you.....this guy is making a serious mistake following the bird.....I teach 6 channel heli piloting and I instruct my students to stay at least 30 feet or more from these birds...I is not nessesary to be as close as this guy is to his bird......

  • @TheBeatSmith i'll probably be following mine when i start flying it. lol. i don't want it to get away from me when i'm learning.

  • I'm curious as to why you follow it.....the range in teh 2.4 Gz receiver is about 1000 ft.

  • @GaryX1001 Ok thx, I'll try soon I told you :)

  • @AyumazHD as i already said, you need to level the swashplate mechanically to make it go up and down without tilting. get a swashplate levelling tool, remove the head, unplug the motor wires and use the tool in idle up mode. RTF does not mean ready to fly but it means all included to begin ;) if you need help doing it have a look in a forum like myrcguide - i'm there also.
