@karamarieRN Michael called out to Sara expecting her to be home. The photographer probably killed her in another room or somewhere else on the property. That allowed the photographer to hide out in the house for a day or two while he waited for Michael to show up..

@karamarieRN It was all business with Nitti. John Rooney had more to offer in the way of business revenue. Connor Rooney wasn't worth a plug nickel to the syndicate after his father died. The photographer would have read about Connor's murder in the papers. He'd know that NItti allowed it to happen. The photographer held a grudge. He knew that Michael would think that it was safe to go to Sara's house because Nitti had no reason to keep the war going.

@karamarieRN Michael believed that Nitti would call off anyone who was pursuing him. That would include the photographer. If Michael had killed the photographer without being wounded, Michael would suspect that Nitti was still out to get him. Michael had already proven how resourceful he was when he robbed Capone's money from the banks and killed off Rooney's entire gang. John Rooney was gone and protecting Connor wasn't worth risking the lives of Nitti's men.

@FireKill80 There is that quirky flick Tom Hanks made; Joe vs. the Volcano. It's a guilty pleasure. I love it like I love Reese Witherspoon movies But for sure it isn't in the same class as this movie, or Pvt Ryan, or Cast Away..

absolutely. I combed the comments to see if anybody else picked up on it. One can only imagine the deja vu the kid is suffering. After all, he saw & heard the the gunshots when his mother & brother were killed.

Well Sullivan next time you make sure a hired assassin is dead after you get into a shoot dummy
-
@ExistenceLucid : jude law killed sullivan for his own agenda. By mutilating his face, the conflict between the two men has become personal. Al was out of this. Nitty could have probably given sullivan's address but this remains mystery

Bloody hell i'm crying again :(

For the first time in the film, no dark enclosed rooms, no dimly lit hallways. Just bright, open space.

I love the way Capones man had it all set up so that when Sullivan goes to the hotel he can just get in, do the biz and get out.
