actually the implant is a titanium socket that is threaded is placed into the jaw and bone is allowed to grow around it. then the place screws into the socket, allowing for time to adjust. then finally the teeth are placed on the screw. the whole process took over 2 years and it was very traumatic. jakki has a lot of stories of things i don't remember or did. i had a performance 2 days after the first surgery. nothing like trying not to bust 30+ stitches while spinning. crazy.

Man, there was a prescription that I was supposed to get in the mail in two days. After tons of checking and recriminations and apologies and general circle jerker-y I got it 5 weeks later. Like we need this.
