And the 3rd and final regular boss fight is against the Egg Dragoon from Sonic Unleashed. At first I thought this fight was stupid. Even if you have Omachao enabled, his tips aren't too useful and you aren't really told some of the tricks to doing this fight. The first time you do this fight, it could take 5+ minutes just because you can't figure out how to effectively hit him.
After figuring it out, on Hard Mode it's much more fast paced and epic IMO. The music is a little underwhelming, but when compared to the last boss, it's to be expected.
While I'm pretty sure I was doing everything correctly, I still feel he has some small openings, and there are some weird inconsistencies to the fight as to when he's open, so I feel as if I'm still unsure of some things in this fight.
*Restrictions*
No Hit
No Death
No Equipped Skills
Must S-Rank
*S-Rank*
On Hard Mode, to S-Rank you'll have to not miss many chances to hit him. It's not as time strict as the first boss, but you won't want to miss more than a couple attacks to end this within 5 minutes.
*Trophies*
You get a trophy for beating him on Normal Mode.
*Tips*
During the wall jumping part, the hitboxes are weird on the icicles. You're going to have to practice it if you don't want to get hit, it's hard to explain where to safely jump. Also note that you can't hang on forever, and that you have a pretty slim amount of time to get to the top before getting crushed.
When you're rushing through the main part, be sure to not Boost always, because sometimes it'll get you hit, such as going for a ramp right when he does his ice move, or being up in his face when he does his Drill attack move.
During the sky diving part, be careful not to make any last second changes in the opposite direction. Doing so makes you move really slowly for a bit and leaves you more open to get hit by the drill move. Try not to stay directly in front of him either.
S-Rank tip: Using "Start Over" causes you to lose a life, but still allows you to get S-Rank. Use this if you mess up. You can't use Start Over if you're on your last life. Furthermore, for
some reason, if you use Continue after losing all lives, you can't S-Rank the Act. The way to fix this is to just choose Start Over after the Continue, then you can S-Rank it.

I don't know why, but suddenly I get the feeling it's time for a change of pace...

Best run I've seen of this boss so far. He didn't manage to get off a "Separation attack!," and you managed to kill him off during the pinch (as opposed to after it).
