that's cause you've been trying to go back to that place you were at before you left. That place where things can live without anything else having to die. But, your mind has evolved past this fantasy state of conscious, thus, that place doesn't exist anymore. Because know, you see things as they are... not what we've pretended them to be. No, you don't need therapy... you just need the rest of the world to wake the fuck up.

It should effect you for the rest of your life. Just not the way "popular culture" mandates (that you should be fucked up mentally). They want you to do one of 2 things, transition successfully or think your fucked up when you can't. Why? because the alternative is a population of superheroes truly capable of effecting change. For there is nothing in life that doesn't come without taking it from someone else. War is just the transaction. What happens to them when you realize this?

Hey bro i feel your pain bro i served 2 tours in afghanistan and ive had 6 months of traumatic counselling and it hasnt really help so im gojng for my third tour in about 3 weeks so maybe i can rest after.
