If you put one monkey in a room with infinite time it would eventually write a masterpiece according to that theory. Its not that one monkey has higher chance of writing a masterpiece but rather the accumulation of the chances.

There is a theory that if you put a million monkeys in a room full of type writers that eventually one of them (through the accumulation of chance) would produce a masterpiece novel. Well, Joopq is a good example of one of those monkeys that, no matter how long you wait and no matter how much chance accumulates, will never even write a short story.

There actually is a theory that the universe is expanding and contracting and that the universe will eventually collapse back down to a singularity and the big bang will start again. But this has been mainly disproved since objects are moving away from each other at accelerating rates. If it was contracting, we would see the rate slowing down.
