People dont realize genital mutilation is still happening in Canada. The rates are definitely lower than the States luckily. Born in 1992, Intact male living in Canada.

Only god knows what the trauma has done to that little boy.

I now make it a practice to mention it to every woman I work with who gets pregnant. It makes me uncomfortable to broach the subject with them, but it must be done.

That image seared into my brain.
Nelson Mandela described his circumcision in his autobiography. He said "I felt as if fire was shooting through my veins; the pain was so intense. . . ." How's that for a first sexual experience?

@TheDevonO That babies are learning in the womb, doesn't that mean they are learning when getting circumcised?
-
WTG Glen of CAN-FAP "Our bodies do not give ourselves infections and cancer." Right! The foreskin as a cause of disease is a myth.

The look of the baby at 1:15 is haunting. When I've seen this look on adults' faces, it has always been connected with some horrible emotional and/or physical pain. Whether or not he "remembers it", why subject a baby to this trauma?
This combination of comments and reactions is very powerful.

Of course it's abusive. Of course all the claims of improved health are bullish*t. It's tragic that some so-called healers in our society are still cutting and sexually harming defenceless little babies for their own selfish financial gain.
This is a really great video! Shared it.
