  • "Sometimes Murder can smell like honeysuckle"

Great line from Double Indemnity and sums up what makes film noir guys follow the dame straight into hell -- eyes wide open and grinning from ear to ear.

  • You can't trust a good-looking dame

  • They don't make classics like this anymore. Thanks for uploading it!

  • Wholesome actors Fred and Ms. Stanwyck did justice to their anti-heroine characters. Billy Wilder is great! I like the dialogue of friendship at the ending scene.Congrats for posting this classic film noir.

  • i wonder if a little rum would get this up on it's (iced tea) feet?

  • I didn’t like it. I loved it but there’s no button for that.

  • Dane Cook / Katherine Heigl. Kitschy. Juvenile. Dick jokes. Sexism. Vote me down for justice!

  • Interesting, that just might be the only "the car won't start" scene that I have witnessed that actually felt suspenseful. Out of Sight was for comedic effect. Cujo was a plot device. The Terminator has merit. But, this one stopped my heart, legitimately.

  • Bruce Campbell could nail this performance, baby.

  • Thank you so much for this great film! I first saw it in the mid 90s as part of a course in film history. This film was my introduction to film noir, and it's really good to see it again.

  • @westlock Don't be prejudiced....You can't trust ugly ones either.....
