Haunted Mansion Reopen part 3

so the onlt things different is that they took out the spiders, added the staircases, and revamped the attic bride scene?? Did I miss anything besides that??

pretty much...and they re-painted everything, the sound in the "stretching" room is different and the painting over the fireplace is now digital and it looks awesome!!!

By far my favorite ride as a kid and even still today, reminds me of my childhood, thanks for sharing thats was awesome, havent been back to WDW in over 10 years, we are planning a trip next summer Ill be sure to post a vid as well.

I loved this ride when I went in 2005 at 10 years old.

About a year ago I went back with a friend of mine, and didn't know of some of the revisions they did shown in this video. When I saw the new attic bride, and her candle turned into an axe before my eyes, I lost it, I was so amazed. This is why I love Disney.

i wish we had those stsirs d: its really sad the disneyland CA haunted mansion is the smallest one of all the rides...and all the rides, sadly, are more prettiye ron the inside and out :(

@RequiemBell104: I guess they removed the "if you would like to join our jamboree" line to make it more fun, because that line makes it revert back to being scary, since the first half of the ride is meant to be scary and the latter half is meant to be light-hearted. Or perhaps, the audio was now running a little long, so they had to hatch away--pardon the pun, given Constance's last name and her weapon of choice--some of the dialog.

@dkajflsdkjfalksdfjla: Yep. Or at least, they tried. Adding Eddie Murphy for comedy just didn't work. Which is why I am glad autoanimatronic figures of the Evers family weren't included in The Mansion, like Cap'n Jack was for Pirates.

@phantomgrrl20: Scared? But seriously, The Mansion is not scary. Or rather, it's not as scary as it was years before, with the pop-up ghosts, Emily, and The Hatbox Ghost. Now, we have Constance and both the pop-up ghosts and The Hatbox Ghost have been removed. But even at its earliest, The Mansion is no match for its overseas counterparts Phantom Manor (Paris) & The Haunted Hotel (Hong Kong).
