@aquapendulum I do agree w/ you but it wasn't just 2 kids. As the ships were taking off you seen hundreds of ships; each of them probably had 2 kids, animals, etc. Furthermore I believe that the aliens are taking the children to all the earth like planets across the universe. Cage and his son was talking about all of the earth like planets. But it was all still redundant.

Also you need to warn everyone in the comments when your going to announce spoilers, potholes, or not.

I remember going to this with my sister. My mom took our little brother to some other movie. Well my sister made it up to the point where the animals are burning and I look over at her and she was freaked. Horror/ disaster movies are not her thing. Long story short, I pulled her out of the theater and into what ever movie our mom and brother were watching. (^_^) She thanked me after

There could have been a lot more action. I was sitting there bored through like, half the movie. :l

I kinda like this film! I have no problem with the ending as I already predicted what is going to happen and I'm just in the half of the film I have watched "Ancient Aliens Series" in TV and I already know the concept. Ezekiel visited by aliens with overlapping rotating wheels tingies. Go watch Ancient Aliens series and you'll appreciate the movie.
